MATAVFALL / FOOD WASTE

Det är förbjudet att slänga plastpåsar i matavfall behållare. Matavfallet får endast slängas i papperspåsar som Solna stad tillhandahåller. Papperspåsar för matavfall finns att hämta i tvättstugan.

Tänk på att  felsortering kostar tusentals kronor i böter och om problemet fortsätter kan SUEZ Recycling AB behöva klassa om matavfall till brännbart avfall. Vi får då en högre kostnad för sophämtning eftersom matavfall hämtas kostnadsfritt medan brännbart avfall hämtas mot avgift.

It is forbidden to throw plastic bags in the food waste containers. Food waste should only be thrown into the paper bags provided by Solna Stad. The paper bags can be found in the laundry rooms.

Keep in mind that wrong waste disposal costs thousands crowns in fines and if the problem persists, SUEZ Recycling AB may need to reclassify the waste. This will mean a higher cost of garbage collection because food waste is collected free of charge while combustible waste is collected at a fee.
